OBITUARY
SENATOR J. T. ROBINSON ,
(Received July 15, 2.20 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 14. The death has occurred, following 4 heart attack, of Senator J. T. Robinson. He was considered to be President Roosevelt's most powerful legislative assistant.
Senator Joseph T. Robinson was born in Lonoke, Arkansas, in 1872. He was educated at public schools and at the University of Arkansas and was ad" mitted to the Bar in 1895. He was a member of the 58th to 62nd Congresses, resigned from Congress in
1913, and was inaugurated as Governoj of Arkansas at once. A fortnight late; he was elected to the Senate and resigned as Governor and took his seat He was re-elected to the Senate in 1918 1925. and 1930, and his latest term ex pired this year.
