"WHEN THIEF MEETS THIEF."
Six daily newspapers with a national circulation co-operated with Criterion Film Porductions in the making of
"When Thief Meets Thief," which stars Douglas Fairbanks, jun. Sequences in the picture required the use of front pages of British newspapers to punch home certain points in the continuity. Stories and headlines were written at the studios and then taken to the papers who got their last edition pages back and reset them with the studio's alterations. The papers were the "Daily Express." the "News-Chronicle," the "Daily Herald." the "Daily Sketch," the "Daily Mirror," and the "Evening Standard." "When Thief. Meets Thief" is released through United Artists.
