"FRONT OF HOUSE" PLAY.
Charles Landstone, who was "front of house" manager at several .West End theatre, wrote "Front of Pouse" with a good knowledge of his subject As the title suggests, the play deals with the theatre, its scenes including; the dress circle bar on a first night. The cast interpreting it at the Strand had Mary Glynne in her original role of the dramatist. Others were Marjoria Mars, Jack Melford, Esme Percy, Jonathan Field (who has himself written a play), Martin Walker, Kathleen Boutal, Arthur Hambling, and Kenneth Buckle. Ronald Shiner was producer.
