AUCKLAND, July 14.
Informative surveys of advanced teaching practice overseas, occasional criticism of methods operating in New Zealand, and psychological aspects of child study were offered by distinguished overseas speakers, who took' part in ten lectures and study groups which formed the session of the New Education Fellowship regional conference.
Emphasis was again laid by several lecturers on the necessity for close cooperation between the school and the home.
Although tomorrow marks the close of the conference in Auckland, a full programme of seminars and lectures has been arranged, proceedings terminating with a social evening in the Town Hall.
