PLUNGE UPSET BY WIFE
Mr. A. F. Henkes entered an Eng-lish-bred horse, Dennis Blink, in the July Handicap at Cape Town early this month, the value of the stake being £6000, the richest race in South Africa, says a cable to Australian papers. He backed his horse to win £100,000, but his entry was defeated in a canter by an outsider, Bally James Duff, owned by Mrs. Henkes, his wife.
