TEA MARKETS.
At the Colombo tea market this week, according to private advices received in Wellington, common -teas were active, prices being a little dearer. Medium and better grades advanced according to quality, which is improving.
On the London market prices were id to id a lb dearer.

DUNEDIN, July 14. Mr. L. M. Wright has received the following cabled report on the Colombo tea auction as follows:—At yesterday's auction 2,000,0001b common and' medium teas remained steady at last week's rates, while quotations for fine grades advanced slightly.
At next week's sale 2,250,0001b has been catalogued for auction.
