OTAKI, This Day.
The annual meeting of parishioners of.All Saints' Church was held on Thursday night, when the report was, considered most gratifying. The balance-sheet showed that the offertox'ies had amounted to nearly £140, while subscriptions and collections totalled another £25. The Ladies' Guild was responsible for providing £ 18, while proceeds from parties, dances, and sales amounted to. £50. The special effort brought in £144, and the bazaar £64. The bank balance had been reduced from 1936 to the present time from £234 to £99. The following were elected vestrymen:—Vicar's warden, Mr. D. W. Allen; people's warden, Mr. F. Rule; Vestry, Mrs. Swabey, Messrs. Critchley, R. Bills, W. Wilson, E. Taylor, H. Barrett, J. Stone, H. Hall, W. M. Sirncox, and G. Evans. . , ■ - ..
