BIBLE PROPHECY." > The object ;;of. this Sunday's Lecture is to show — ',- .;. ■■'■■. : (1) THAT Jesus and His Apostles in preaching "The Truth," i.e., "The Onp Faith." preached "The Gospel of The Kingdom of God," the. "good news" that the Lord Jesus Christ would return again to earth to fulfil the Lord's Prayer ("Thy Kingdom Come") by .'abolishing every exjsting .system '■ of human government and setting up the KINGDOM OF GOD on earth; that Christ Himself would become its King, reigning from David's throne, restored in Jerusalem; -that Christ's- true followers throughout the ages (then resurrected from,the dead and immortalised) would as His co-rulers "reign with Him" "on the earth"; and that then the World (being.under the complete control of Divinely-appointed . rulers, .all immortal,- all, embodiments of Divine wisdom, and'all possessing Almighty power to enforce it) would experience - a literal, fulfilment of the song of' the: Angels at the, birth of Jesus, "GLORY TO "GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH PEACE, GOOD WILL TOWARDS MEN."
