Decision was reserved-by" the Chief Justice- (Sir Michael . Myers) in the Supreme Court yesterday afternopn at the conclusion of the case in'which tho Masterton Picture and Entertainment Co., Ltd;, proceeded against William • Robert Kemball, a company director, of Wellington. ' •
The company claimed rescission of an alleged agreement between it and the defendant, a director of the company at the time, under which the company took 10,000 £1- shares in the Majestic Theatre (Wellington), Ltd., and also sought repayment of the £10,000 paid, or £10,000 damages. •Mr. G. G. G. Watson and Mr. H. J. V. James appeared for. the plaintiff, and Mr. A. B. Sievwright and Mr. W. Heine for the defendant, who denied allegations of misrepresentation.
