A REMAND GRANTED
RECKLESS DRIVING CHARGE
Charged with recklessly driving a motor-car1 at Porirua on November. 6, thereby causing bodily injury to James Leacock, Walter Edward Miller, a wrestling manager, aged 50, appeared before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. , Detective-Sergeant L. B. Revell asked for a remand till November 25. Leacock, he said, was still in hospital.
: In reply to a question by the Magistrate, the detective-sergeant stated that he was not sure of Leayock's condition. There was an injury to the back which was rather worrying to the doctor.
The remand was granted, bail being allowed at £100, with one surety of £100 or two of £50 each.
Mr. J. D. Willis appeared for the accused.
