CLEANING PANS
A copper preserving pan should be cleaned with a mixture of salt and sand, two parts of sand being used with one part of salt. The mixture should be rubbed in with a flannel pad. Obstinate stains on the outside of the pan may be removed with a little lemon juice. The cleansed pan must be polished inside and out with a soft rubber.
