LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL
The Legislative Council met at 10 a.m. today, and quickly passed the Chatham Islands County Council Empowering Bill and the Native Purposes Bill. ■ In moving the second reading of the Statutes-Amendment Bill, the Leader (the Hon. M. Fagan) said that had not the session been concluding, the Bill would have been referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. ■ ■
