(By Telenrapn.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Wild.Chase and Emissary were responsible for attractive gallops at Riccarton early this morning. Most of the visitors, including the crack three-year-old Gallio, were restricted to useful" work- on the plough. Wild Chase looks in splendid order after the. trip to Wellington and ran seven furlongs nicely on the plough in Imin 29 2-ssec. He pulled up well. . Top Notch is also in nice order and covered nine furlongs on the outside of the course proper, the last mile taking Imin 43sec. ■ Dungarvan is a picture of condition and was eager to gallop, but was kept back to useful work on the. course proper. . - Emissary broke away from his rider and sprinted , over half a mile in 49 j sec, the last three furlongs in 36.2-5 sec. He has never looked in better order and promises to run a greatrace in the Stewards' Handicap.

Sw«f dstick was too good for Rousseau over six furlongs on the course proper in Imin 19 2-ssec.

Gallio was given a-useful-gallop on the plough, the last three furlongs taking 38sec. He moves attractively and is in splendid condition for his Cup Week engagements. The Cup candidate Fersen went twice'round oil the plough at a useful pace. He is very well. Manetho was beaten off by Epic in a useful gallop, the last half-mile being run in 52sec.

Triune finished up" his task by running." the last' half-mile. on the plough in 50sec. Cerne Abbas fan six furlongs on the plough in Imin 18 4-ssec, the last half-mile in 52 4rssec.
