SOLARIO NOT FOR SALE
An offer was recently made in England on behalf of the Soviet Government for the "syndicate stallion," Solario. Lord Rosebery, chairman of the syndicate of breeders who paid the record price of 47,000 guineas for the horse four years ago, submitted the offer to the shareholders. It was generally agreed that the price suggested by the Soviet Government was not worth cpnsidering.
