A DOG'S GOOD TURN
We have heard many stories of dogs who will attack either another dog or a human being who attempts to take. jils food away, and this makes the case of Larry, a ten-year-old collie dog. in ; Sydney, Australia, all the more remarkable.
Some years ago Larry met a stray Irish terrier and" began,to take it a i bone every day. To encourage him ,'Larry'e mistress used to make up a 'parcel of scraps every day, and Larry 'solemnly carried these to his friend.
The news apparently spread in the > canine world, lor other strays began to appear each day as Larry brought his parcel of food. Lai'ry never attempts' to ,eat any of the food he carries, but lays it down for" his poorer friends and watches them eat it; he then returns hortle.
