MEDICAL ASPECTS OF AVIATION
Dr. J; Leduc, a member of the French Central Air Ambulance Committee and technical adviser to the French Red Cross on air ambulance problems, has just published a manual entitled "Notions de Medecine Aeronautique," in which he discusses the influence of altitude on certain individuals, the care required by air ambulance patients, and the organisation of. air ambulance services, for the edification of doctors, nurses, and pilots. . .
This manual, the first of its kind yet published, will be welcomed by the National Red Cross Societies, many of which have already started air ambulance services or their own. The League of Red Cross Societies (12 rue Ne.wori, Paris XVI) is accordingly placing copies at the disposal of national societies interested in this subject.
