HUNTING MISHAP
ITALIAN CONSUL SHOT
ACCIDENTALLY WOUNDED
HIMSELF
ADDIS ABABA, August 22.
It is reported that. Baron Falconi, Italian Consul at Debra Marcos, 125 miles north-west of Addis Ababa', "was shot while on a hunting expedition, and that he has been admitted to hospital.
The Italian Legation announces that Baron Falconi was accidentally wounded with his own gun.
Travelling with his usual caravan of mules and servants, Baron. Falconi left the caravan on horseback with a personal servant to shoot game. The servant says that Baron Falconi left him with a horse and walked some distance. The servant heard two shots and a cry for- help,' and found the Baron shot, with a wound in the chest. He had shot himself accidentally when replacing his revolver in Its holster.
He is out of danger!
Baron Falconi is a soririn-law of Sir Sidney Barton, British Minister to Abyssinia.
