FUNERAL SERVICES

LOS ANGELES, August 22.
With high officials of the United States Army and Navy representing President Roosevelt in attendance, funeral services in honour of Will Rogers, who was killed with Wiley Post in a flying crash in Alaska, were he]d-in the presence o£ 100,000 people, necessitating the detailing of 400 police to handle* the crowds at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The motion picture industry was at a standstill, more than 12,000 theatres throughout the country being darkened for two minutes
Simultaneously vast crowds paid homage at services to Wiley' Post in Oklahoma City.
