NEW TRIAL ORDERED
CHARGE AGAINST WOMAN

NAPIER,' August 22.
After a retirement of four hours and a half a jury' failed to agree in the case of Frances Millicent Lorigan, a married woman of Hastings, who pleaded not-guilty to a charge of manslaughter. The retrial will begiii next Wednesday.
Lorigan was; charged; with causing the death of Christina: Margaret Ramsay at Hastings on March 16 "last by an unlawful act, and alternatively with using an' instrument unlawfully on Christina -Margaret Ramsay.
