AUCKLAND SHIPWRIGHTS
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT

AUCKLAND, August 22.
Complete agreement was reached in the dispute between the Ship, Yacht, arid Boatbuilders' Union 'and the ■". employers, heard before the Conciliation Commissioner. Mr. P. Hally. Those employees who ceased work on July 29 will resume" tomorrow.
The .minimum wage .agreed upon for journeymen shipwrights and boatbuilders is 2s 2d-an hour, : the rate under the old award being Is lid for boatbuilders. and 2s for •■ shipwrights] The employers originally offered 2s Id an hour, while the employees' assessors sought an.increase to:2s 2£d.an hour.
New conditions in regard to overtime payments, meal hours, meal allowances, country work, and dirty work also were agreed upon.
