WEDDING
BERRY—TWIST.
A wedding. that. attracted -considerable, interest -in the, district -took place at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Miramar, on Saturday, last, when Josephine Alberta,.second, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Twist, of Seatoun Heights, was married to Douglas William, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Berry, also of Seatoun Heights. The Rev. D. -Martin performed ..the ceremony, and Miss Haase-presided at the organ.
The bride, who was escorted by herfather, wore a frock of crepe satin cut on medieval lines, the skirt swept out at the back in a deep 'traiii which was embroidered in leaf fashion. Her long veil of tulle S'as mounted on a halo of orange blossoms, and her bouquet was of white winter roses and orchids. Her bridesmaid was her sister, Miss Ethel Twist, who wore pink crepe marocain, with pink hat and shoes to match. She carried a bouquet of pink and heliotrope sweet peas and winter roses with heliotrope streamers. A reception was held,at the Lawn Tennis Pavilion, Miramar, where many guests assembled. The guests were re-' ceived by Mrs. Twist, mother of the bride, who was attired, in a swagger suit of brown marocain with hat and match, -and Mrs. Berry, mother of the bridegroom, who wore a brown costume and. hat.
