RELIGIOUS SERVICES. T ECTURE ON BIBLE TRUTH x-1 (God willing), 1.0.0. F. HALL, ALLEN STREET (Opi). Paramount, Cowtenay Place.) ■ SUNDAY, at 7 p.m. WHAT THE JeGOSPEL 05} CHRIST REALLY IS "If an Angel from Heaven or any mart preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Paul-Gals.'liS-O). EVIDENCE will be produced from the scriptures to show:— (1) THAT the Gospel Christ and His disciples preached was "THE GOSPEL (i.e., good news) OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.'-' (Matt. 4:23, Matt. 9:35, Mark 1:14, Luke 4:43, Luke 8:1, Luke 9:1 and 6, Acts 8:12, Acts 19:8, Act* 20:23, Acts 28:31.) (2) THAT "the Kingdom of God" this "good news" relates to is "the King* (lorn of God" of the Lord's Prayer— ''Thy Kingdom come. Tliy will be dons in earth" (Matt 0:10)— a Kingdom which Holy Scripture repeatedly and abundantly indicates will be literally established upon earth at the second coming of Jesus Christ, • the God appointed King of this coming Kingdom. (2 Tim. 4:1, Eev. 11:15, Dau. 2:44, Dan. 7:13-14. Acts 17:31, Rev. 19:15-10, Isa. 9:0. Zech. 14:9. Psa. 67:4, Psa. 72, Isa. 2, Isa. 11, etc.) (3) THAT God has appointed faith and belief in His coming Kingdom the firsfc condition of salvation—for this reason not only was Christ specially sent to .- preach the "good news" concerning it , (Luke 4:43), but in turn Christ commanded His disciples to continue the , same preaching, saying, '"Go ye into , all the world and preach THE GOS- •' PEL (i.e., "good news") to every; | creature," adding "He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved.1' ■ (Mark 16:15-10. sec also Roms. 1:16,. 1 Cor, 15:1-2, Gals. 3:6-9,, Hebs. ll:0» Mark 10:15, Matt. 0:33, etc.) Questions invited.
