MORE MEN SUFFER
(Received July 13, 1 p.m.) j . " BRISBANE, This Day. Influenza continues to take toll of the Maoris. The following developed temperatures last night:—Chase, Mataira, and Phillips, and they were taken to St. Helen's Hospital with a worse attack than the two Reedys had. ITo make matters worse, Mr. W. J. ! Wallace was ill this morning, and the I doctor will probably send him to hospital later.
All the team's five-eighths are at present unavilable, which is cruel luck for the tourists.
Ngaio replaces Chase, McDonald replaces Phillips, and Kawe replaces Mataira.
Sir Leslie Wilson, Queensland's Governor, will meet the Maoris before the game. The rain has cleared and the weather is perfect.
