FINANCIAL WARNING
FIRST SIGNS APPAEENT
BLAZE OF ACTIVITY
RISKS AHEAD
United Press Association—By Electric Tclograph—Copyright. (Received July 1, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 30. The "Financial News" stales that, the .new issue market is celebrating the half-year in a' blaze of activity which is developing into an unhealthy boom. , The "Investors5 Chronicle" considers that investors are losing their heads and their money. "The fact that a few good names figure on prospectuses seems sufficient for a voraci-' ous public," it states. "The year 1928----29 showed how new issue booms can lead not only to individual losses but losses to industry in general. We do not suggest that the present movement has reached boom proportions, but the first signs thereof necessitate a warning of the risks ahead."
