MCCARTEN ON HOLIDAY
The successful Sydney rider M. McCarten, formerly of New.Zealand, arrived at Auckland by the Mariposa on Saturday morning on a holiday trip, which will probably extend to about three weeks. Mr. C. E. Robertson, bloodstock salesman, left by the same steamer on a business visit to the United States and Canada.
