Kember lost to H. Boon, jun., 1 down; A. Murray beat T. Johnston, 5 and 4; A. Craighead and C. Gyles, all square; A. Gollop beat S. Crichton, 4 and 2; F. Smith beat J. Watts, 3 and 2; W. Gollop beat R. Mexted, 2 up; X.. Twiss beat B. Gyles, 5 and 4; J. Bringans beat T. Kelly, 7 and 6; F. McNeil beat J. L. Gichard, 5 and 4; L. Smith beat G. Swinburne, 4 and 3. Other games resulted: A. Champion beat H. Rigg, 5 and 3: F. Marshall and Hewitt, all square; H. Lynch lost to McKenzie, 2 down.
