NELSON ROTARY

"The work of the community service committee is more interesting and varied than that of any other commit--tee owing to its wide.scope, and this year we are glad to report on two matters of greater importance than usual," stated the annual report of the Nelson Rotary Club. "These are the crippled children's movement and the children's health camps. The club has satisfaction in knowing that it has done its share in assisting the former project in the Nelson district. The health camps idea lias been before the club for a considerable time, our members recognising the benefit that would result from such camps when established. Arrangements are in the hands of a competent public committee, of which a Rotarian is president, and wo are confident that the first camp in Nelson will be held next summer."

• The club's incoming officers are:— President, Mr. E. A. Bone; vice-pre-sident, Mr; A. S. G. Adam; directors, Messrs. J. G. Ingram, G. ftianson, and L. N. Montgomery; treasurer, Mr. P, W. Harrold; secretary, Mr. A. C. Rout. A vote of thanks and appreciation of his services was passed to the retiring president, Rotarian W. A. Armstrong.
