SKATEWAYS.
The management. of, the modernised Skateways .rink, situated m Vivian Street, has placed skating on. a high plane in Wellington. The sessions commence at 10 a.m. each day, with.a selected staff of tutors always in attendance to assist patrons. .Tonight the session will extend- from ■ 7.30 to 10 o'clock. • One of the most popular of the sessions is the private learners' class, held-between-6 and 7 p.m. daily. The weekly session for college students takes-place each Thursday afternoon, and extends to 5 p.m. What promises to be the event of the skating season in Welling on, a spec-tacular.-vice-versa carnival.- has been arranged to. take place .on Wednesday, July 3. commencing at 7,30 p.m. A big prize-list has-been arranged, and many novelties ad attractions have been included. A spectacular arid daring skating exhibition will be one of the features. Ample accommodation has been arranged for onlookers.
