MAHARAJAH'S ILLNESS
THREE DAYS OF PRAYER
(Received July 1, 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 30. A three days' prayer meeting for the Maharajah of Patiala, who is seriously ill in Paris, has concluded in the upper rooms of a house in London. The meeting was attended by 250 Sikh men, women, and children. Relays of six readers took two-hour spells in reading Sikh Scriptures.from beginning to end.
The Maharajah had a heart attack in London during the Jubilee celebrations.
