ATTACK AMD DEFENCE
FOUR DAYS' AIR EXERCISES

RUGBY, July 21. London will be'tho centre of annual air exercises in connection with Britain's air defence .during tho first four days of next week. These exorcises are designed as a test of Royal Air Force training. For this purpose there will bo "Northland'? on the defensive and "Southland" attacking, the former equipped with 180 machines, all of them fighting and reconnaissance, units, together with searchlight companies, and' tho latter with 196 machines, practically all of them bombing craft.
