A bogey competition at Hutt on> Saturday resulted in a tie between W J , Hutcheson ,and H. R. Evans, 1 up. Next Saturday a stroke competition and tne qualifying .round for the captain's trophy 16 seniors and 16 juniors to qualify and play off by match play, will 'be played. ,
