;■■ There Wa6 a large entry for the Jellicoe Cup competition, a mixed,foursome flag evejit, played on the Miramar .links, on Saturday. A biting southerly breeze nfade matters rather cheerless late in the afternoon, ,and a good many pairs did not complete the round. . The winners were Mr. and Mrs. A. Marsden, who carried the flag 21ft: past the' pin on the eighteenth green. Major and Mrs. T. Farr and Professor F. P. and Miss Plimmer finished on the eighteenth fairway. ;
