The Department of Agriculture has re^ ceived the following cablegram, dated June 23, from the High .Commissioner for New Zealand:— .-. Present spo^ quotations are:—Mutton, fine 21s 6d to 22s 6d, fair, to good 17s 6d,to 21s, dark to dull 15s 6d to 16s; beef, sweet and/or mixed 18s to 19s 6d, fair to good .16s to 17s 6d, dark to dull 15s to 15s; 6d; mixed, fair to good 16s to 175,-dark to dull 15s to 15s 6d; gut, etc., 14s 6d> to 15s 6d. • , : . ~ ■ . Hemp: Manila—Market dull and unchanged,. Sisal —Market easier under selling pressure. July-September shipment sold at £15 12s 6d; closing sellers £15 10s. New Zealand —Market nominal and changed. ' . : ,'- . I- ■ .-• A. H. Turnbull and Co. have received a cable from W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., London, dated June 20, as follows: —"At the tallow auctions today 959 casks were offered, of which 162 casks were sold; late rates to ls'less."
