The Auckland Bowling Centre, on the other hand will submit a remit proposing that the singles competition be played in sections' of six, each player to play against the other five on the first day, after which the two-life system shall apply, the outright unbeaten winners of sections to go forward as twolifers, and those tieing-as winners of sections with lsss than five wins to go forward as one-lifers."

The questions of test stamps and size and weight of bowls will also be considered, as well as the much-discussed matter of bowl testing, including the testing and altering of bowls in final games. Advice has been received by the New Zealand Bowling.
