ELECTRIFICATION
SOUTHERN RAILWAY SCHEME

RUGBY, .May 1. A further stage of- the Southern Eailway's great scheme of electrification was opened today when the first electric train1 ran from London beyond Bickley to St. Mary's Cray. The electrification is to be carried on to Sevenoaks at a cost of £500,000.
