_Dr. Ring was fined 60s and 10s' costs. His Solicitor, in asking that no conviction be recorded under special section of the Act; said that the operations were.. performed solely owing to a. lifelong friendship between Dr. Ring arid J7T. Jamieson. Similar operations bad been' performed in New Zealand with successful results. • The Magistrate declined to release the defendant, saying that the defendant knew the.law and accepted a fee for the operations. .^ ' MADE RIGHT!
