LOCAL MANAGEMENT

Transfers were granted as follows by the meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Football Association; over which Mr; W. B. Hicks presided, last night:—R. R. Wilson from Institute 0.8.- to Waterside; H. Stone from Stop Out to Waterside; E. J. Hepplewhite from Swifts to Technical i O.B.; W. Ogg from Technical 0.8. to Onslow. A protest was received from Miramar Rangers Club against their First I! Division team having to play at Kilbirnie No. 1 and' at Anderson Park No. 1, the club stating that on the former ground the ball was often in the sea and that on the latter it continually went out of play on to the road below. Members of the committee agreed that the Kilbirnie ground in particular was unsuitable, and it was decided to reply to the club that the fixtures for next Saturday could not be altered, but that efforts would be made in the future to give the team better grounds. The following fixtures were made for Saturday, May 12:—First A Division: Hos- i pital v. Petone, Basin Reserve No. 1, 3! p.ni.'; Maiist v. Nada, Stadium, 3 p.m.;! Lower Hutt \. Waterside, Hutt Recreation ! Ground, 3 p.m.; Diamond, v. Swifts, K.elburnPark, 3,p.m. First B Division: Institute Old Boys v. Rovers, Petone Recreation Ground, 2.45 p.m.; Seatoun v. Stop Out, Basin Reserve No. 2, 2.30 p.m.; Onslow v. Miramar Rangers,. Nairnville, 3 p.m.; Technical Old Boys v. Island Bay, Wakefield Park No. 1, 3 p.m.
