INTE.RCARGILL, May 2. At 6 o'clock this evening, W. Moore and F. Davis, tho two Winton youths who were lost in tho Lillbui.i Valley oil Sunday, returned to Wi-i-ou litUc the worse for their experience. They, were discoveicd ;this' morning in the-douse Helmet country by Mr. T. Clark and his party, who entered the bush the previous evening. Tho pair had subsisted siilcs Sunday on half a sandwich each day. They saw tho searching aeroplane, yesterday afternoon, but failed to attract tlie attention of the pilot, as they woro'ln a gully at the time'and could find no dry wood to light a fire. They made for a ridge, and about an hour later again saw the aeroplane, and were then ablo to light a firo, the smoko from which was sebn by tho airman, Who was accompanied by Mr. ( Clark., Tho latter organised the paity that set outlast evening.- and they mlado for the spot where tho smoke was seen in the afternoon. At 7.30 this morning Moore and Davis heard a cooco', and rotilrned tho call, the- search party arriving-'on the Bcono a few moments later.
