Davis, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington today, en routo for Sydney, where they wifl spend the winter months.. Miss Juliet ISfathnn, Wellington, is visiting Mrs. G. L. Rutherford at Mnedonald Downs, Hawarden. •An evening party in honour of their daughter, Olive Edna, was given by Mr. and Mrs. W. Light/ at their home, 8 Eowa Boad, Hataitai, recently. The evening proved a very enjoyable One, many friends and relations being present. . . Mrs. Atkinson, New Plymouth, is staying with Mrs. J. Js. D, Macdonald, Glasgow Street. . ' Miss Peggy James, Masterton, is staying with Mrs. E. W. Hunt, Watson Street. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hadficld, Hill Street, have returned from a, visit to Hawke's Bay. ," ■ ■ Mrs. B. Hannah, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Miss M. Kressc (Christchureh) and Miss Jessie E. McKay (Honolulu) are staying at the Hotel St. George.. Miss L. Leslie (Martinborough),Mrs. E. G. Vaughan (Sydney), and Mrs. I. Hermann-Brown and Miss Kathleen Knight (Marlborough) arc among the guests at the Koyal Oak Hotel.
Mrs. A. E.L. Seantlobury, Blenheim, is a guest at the Empire Hotel. ■
