CHRISTCHURCH SENTENCES

CHEISTCHUKOH, This Day. Prisoners-1 were sentenced by Mr. Justice Johnston as follows:—Henry Herbert Pearce, indeeenij • assault against females, two years and six months' imprisonment; Arthur Albert King, breaking and entering a shop and theft, four months' imprisonment; Edward Milner, supplying a, noxious thing with intent to. secure a miscarriage, admitted to probation. C. W. Price and Co., 91 Dixon Street, will sell household furniture, a sewing machine, and sundries in. the ttattat 1.30, pjn. tomorrow^ . ■ "'. "-'-^
