CLAIM FOR INSURANCE
A SUCCESSFUL ACTION (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
. WESTPOBT, June 13. The Supreme Court has been occupied the best: part of two days hearing the claim of Janet MacNcil, of Millerton, against the New Zealand Commercial Assurance Company for £350 on house and £.150 on furniture destroyed by firo on November 14, 1932. At the conclusion of the hearing, Mr. Justice Blair commented strongly on the action of the defendants in alleging arson, and not attempting to support the allegation with evidence. He said there we/c good claims against insurance companies and bad claims, and this was one of the good ones. Judgment was given for the plainlift' for the full amount claimed, with costs.'
