ILL-FORTUNED DECISION
The Riccarton owner-trainer, J. H. Prosser, nominated menrbers of his team for the Easter meetings at Randwick, Riccartpn, and Ellerslie. He finally chose Riccarton, but it did not work out happily. The third of Great Star in the Great Easter was the only placing of the 'team, though Grand Review was a very close fourth in the Autumn Plate. Moreover, a severe loss was incurred when Scarlet Robe was fatally injured in the Papanui Handicap.
