Lois was three, and although she had had four Easter eggs already, she did not recognise them in her new storybook. Gracie departed, leaving Lois sitting by the fire. "I wonder who makes Easter eggs," she murmured. "The fairies might, I wonder." "Oh, yes, we make them," said n tinkling voice beside her. Lois turned round astonished. "Oh, I fought you did," she said. "I like Easter eggs." "Well, come with me," said the elf maiden, leading Lois towards the window. There was a rush of fresh air, and the fairy and Lois landed on the grass. "This is tho Easter Egg Factory. See!" said the elf maiden. "Come, I will introduce you to Brownie Helpful. This is Little Gladness. They both make Easter eggs." j "Oh!" snid Lois. | "Yes," continued tho elf maiden. "Here is tho packing room. "Which egg do you like best?" ! "Vat one*" replied Lois promptly pointing to an elaborate one in the cor"You may keep it,", said tho elf maiden. ■ ~.,,, "Oh," breathed Lois, blissfully clasping the Easter egg to her "Now we must go back," said the elf maiden. "Lois, what arc yon sitting there for? Where did you get that Easter egg from? Lois!" Grade's voice - cut through the air, and, as Lois sat up, she said: "You did not have that before. AVheie did you get it from?" The fairy gave it to me, an' I saw Li'l Gladness, an 'B'ownie Helpful, an' >> She stood up and whispered the gtory into Gracie'3 ear. "Just fancy," exclaimed Gracie.
