BOXING TOURNAMENT.
The Wellington Boxing Association .will open the current season with a popular match on Monday evening between t.ha present holder of the lightweight title, Archie Hughes, and the challenger for championship honours, Ted Oxley. Oxley, has already made three strenuous attempts to'beat Hughes. Everything points to a vigorous entertainment, full of thrills and excitement. The preliminaries will be as follows:—-Billish v. Reeves; J Meaclen v. Wilson; Dunn v. Loveridge; andWithey v. Davies. As the Town Hall has not the great number of seats which - the Stadium made available, patrons are advised to secure their seats.
