MELROSE RATEPAYERS
At the annual meeting of the Melrose Ratepayers' Association, held recently, it was decided that a deputation wait on the Tramways Committee with a request that the Melrose bus be allowed to run at least to Conrtenay Place. Officers elected for the year were: — President. Mr. E. Mexted; vice-president, Mr. T. Eves; secretary, Ml-. E. Hooker; treasurer, Mr. F. Zantuck; executive, Messrs. Burton, Cross, Munn, Martin, and Mrs. Zantuck. A resolution recorded the excellent work of the former treasurer, Mr. F. Boyd. The social committee consists of the executive and Mesdames Eves, Blenkinsop, Ulyatt, Blackett,- Hooker,- and Mr. Edmundson. The secretary was instructed to write to the milk department suggesting a reversion to the early morning delivery.
