EASTER ECHOES
FAR AND NEAR
A CHRISTCHURCH FIND
Had such glorious Easter weather been anticipated, no doubt the tournaments far and near might have been more largely entered for, but the fact remains that of the leading golfers there were only absent Eana Wagg, who was not at all at his best, and T. H. Horton, who remained in tho Wairarapa. There was noticeable a falling off in the outside entries for the Wellington Golf. Club's Easter tourney, which included tho provincial championship, but that was obviously not because of any lack of interest in the event, but on account of the times. Wellington players who went afield did vory well during Easter.
