Following a meeting of Masonic and Government representatives it is announced that there will be a dissolution of'all German Masonic lodges-and-» reorganisation on. a purely- Christiaa basis. The--word Freemason and; also the Old Testament ritual will disappear, and the lodges wil? bo reorganised under the name of the National Christian Order of ■ Frederick the Great. .Jewa are to be refused admittance. The statement declared that the Grand Lodges bad decided on "reorganisation in deference to the new; conditions. The Masonic traditions of almost two centuries' standing will be* removed. Therai are believed to be a million German Freemasons.. . ' ' :
