EASTER SHOW

CLOSES TONIGHT

CHILDREN'S DAY ,

• This evening will provide the last chance of seeing all the attractions at the Easter Show. Attendances vfrom the Easter'period have been very good, showing that the public has appreciated the spectacular events arranged for it, and it is anticipated that tonight's attendance will be a record. Special entertainments were provided this afternoon for the children, who were given the freedom, of the "show in most directions, and treated generously in reductions in others, and they, took full advantage of it. The dog show is being continued, and the sido shows aro being well patronised, as it is usual for parties of friends to "do" the big fair together during its closing hours. Last night a mannequin parade was held by Messrs. X' -kcaldip and Stains, Ltd., and this evening, for the last time, tho massed trades display, one, of the brightest things ever put on at the show, will no doubt attract a very large crowd in the stadium, where the. brilliantly lit spectacle is staged. The teams parade individually, are judged, and then group themselves until the grand parade, and as there are 250 girls taking part in teams of eight, the effect is striking. Tho costumes worn create much interest in both sexes, as many of the teams specialise in male attire. This display commences at 7.15 p.m. tonight,, the early, start being made to allow time for the decoration of the winners and the presentation of prizes
