A POSSIBLE EVENT
United Press Assoclatlon—By Blectrlo X«leeraph—Copyright (Received April 21, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day, I Sir Charles Kingsford Smith said:— "I. may fly the Southern Sky to New Zealand, but do not think it will be very wise. The Southern Sky will only be flown across if the shipping rates arc too high." "Smithy" said he would be only too glad to enter an air race from. London to' Melbourne. "If anybody gives me a nice aeroplane," he added. The Southern Sky is a triplc'-eugined craft with a capacity for eight passengers, which was purchased at the auction sale of the stock of Australian National Airways, in liquidation, on behalf of Mr. H. M. Mackay, managing director of New Zealand Airways, for £2150. The aeroplane is to remain in Sydney pending advice from New Zealand. . i
