BOARDS OF CONTROL
STATES HAVE NO POWER
SYDNEY, April 20. The High Court today, in dismissing an appeal by the Queensland Peanut Board, virtually decided "that States have no power to create boards for the control' and marketing of primary produce where such control infringed the freedom of trade as provided for under the Commonwealth Constitution.
